I've only fought a Cleric as a Chanter @ level 15, but we couldn't kill each other. As a Chanter now, I have a pretty much higher DPS and almost as good healing (level 24), but I do think a Chanter would win. Got some really awesome combos and my friend also play as a Clearic. I got better weapons and armor, to!
